is there a fast and furious 10 coming out

Dwayne Johnson has been openly urged to return for Fast & Furious 10 by Vin Diesel. Fast & Furious 10 will be directed by veteran franchise filmmaker Justin Lin and will set the scenario for the eleventh and last film in the franchise, which will be released on April 7, 2023. Most of those big series stars are expected to return, but Dwayne Johnson, who portrayed Agent Hobbs in Fast Five and its three sequels, will be noticeably absent.

Johnson and Diesel notoriously feuded on the set of Fate of the Furious, and the two never filmed a scene together. While Johnson quit the main series, Universal Pictures saw a chance to keep one of Hollywood’s finest actors happy while also prolonging one of its most popular franchises by producing Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, a spin-off film. Hobbs & Shaw are now working on a sequel, which will hopefully continue the Fast & Furious franchise once the original series ends.

Johnson stated in July 2021 that he will not be repeating his role in Fast & Furious 10 or 11. Johnson wished the actors and crew of the next films the best of luck, but said the sequels will be done without him. While artists like as Tyrese Gibson have stated that their dispute with Johnson is resolved, Diesel’s statements earlier this summer suggested that there was still some bad blood between the two stars. The conflict is a “sensitive issue,” according to Ludacris, who also appears in the Fast & Furious franchise.

With a release date of 2023, the film would have to begin production in 2022, and Johnson already has a lot on his plate, including a sequel to Jungle Cruise and a probable sequel to his upcoming DCEU film Black Adam. If Johnson decides to return for Fast & Furious 10, he may have a smaller role than fans expect, possibly a cameo or a one-scene walk-on at the end of the film. For many Fast & Furious fans, witnessing the two characters put their differences aside and see Luke Hobbs and Dominic Torreto as family would be a pleasant return home.

Fast & Furious 10 marks the beginning of the conclusion of the Fast Saga, and a release date has been set for the series’ last instalment.
Justin Lin will helm the final two films in the franchise, which will create an overarching tale and bring back all of our Fast & Furious favourites – well, almost all of them – in October 2020.
Fans may be upset to learn that the series would conclude with a two-part conclusion, but as Vin Diesel has remarked, “Every narrative deserves its own finish.” What will be the conclusion? We’ll have to wait and watch.
For the time being, as Fast & Furious 10 and 11 prepare to begin filming in January 2022, here’s all you need to know about Fast & Furious 10. There will be some spoilers for the ninth film ahead.

Fast and Furious 10 trailer:

We could receive some behind-the-scenes video during the production, which is planned to begin in January 2022. Otherwise, we could have to wait until the end of the year for more footage.

The first trailer for F9, which was planned for a June 2020 release, was published in January 2020, therefore a similar chronology would place the first Fast & Furious 10 trailer around November.

That wouldn’t be a genuine series finale if most of the family didn’t return, so expect to see Vin Diesel’s Dom joined by a slew of famous faces, especially after Fast & Furious 9 went down without a hitch.

Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Tyres Gibson as Roman, Ludacris as Tej, Jordana Brewster as Mia, and Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey grew the family even more with the surprise return of Sung Kang as Han, so we’d expect him to return alongside Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Tyres Gibson as Roman, Ludacris as Tej, Jordana Brewster as Mia, and Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey.

We expect a number of cameo appearances and little parts for characters over the whole season, including Lucas Black as Sean Boswell, Bow Wow as Twinkie, Jason Tobin as Earl Hu, and Shea Whigham as Agent Stasiak, but that’s about it in terms of the main ensemble.

Mr Nobody’s fate remained unknown at the conclusion of F9, but given that he assisted Han in faking his own death, we wouldn’t be shocked if he’s still alive to assist Dom and his crew.

In the same vein as Han’s reappearance, there’s a notion that Mr Nobody staged Gisele’s death, so may Gal Gadot make a cameo in the two-part finale? We’re not ruling anything out after the ninth film’s space adventure.

There’s no way the finale will go by without Brian O’Conner making an appearance, whether it’s in a cameo or a more significant part. Maybe it’ll just be old video of the late Paul Walker, or maybe there’ll be some CGI magic, but he’ll surely be in it.

“Basically, Paul and Brian are such an important part of how we’re able to keep going, and it’s something that I take to heart and think about every day,” Lin stated.

“As we get closer to the end of the chapter, it’s a dialogue I’m having, and I’m trying to be as courteous [as possible] in how we approach it, and I can tell you that every day I feel like I’m going back and forth, and it’s a continual discourse.”

Brewster has expressed her desire for Meadow, Paul Walker’s daughter, to appear in the series before it concludes. Maybe it’ll happen in Fast & Furious 10?

Jason Statham returned to the main series as Deckard Shaw in the F9 credits sequence, so we wouldn’t be shocked if he didn’t appear in the two-part finale, with his mother Magdalene ‘Queenie’ Shaw, played magnificently by Helen Mirren.

We speculated that this would pave the path for Dwayne Johnson to reprise his role as Luke Hobbs, especially because Lin stated that both Hobbs and Shaw are still “part of this family,” and Gibson stated that he’d patched things up with Johnson.

According to Johnson’s producing partner Hiram Garcia, Johnson has seemingly ruled himself out of returning to the series.

“After filming Fast and Furious 8, DJ made the obvious decision to finish the Fast & Furious chapter,” he stated. “He wished them all well and redirected our attention to other possibilities of narrative”.

Fast and Furious 10 release date:

Fast & Furious 10 will hit theatres on April 7, 2023, according to Universal (barring any delays, of course).

F9 was supposed to be released in April 2019, while the tenth film had a release date of April 2, 2021, which had to be moved after F9 was delayed numerous times before ultimately being released in June 2021.

Diesel has confirmed that production on the two-part finale will begin in January 2022, and that the two films will be shot back-to-back, as Tyrese Gibson previously stated.

Fast and Furious 10 plot:

By the end of Fast & Furious 9, everything has been nicely wrapped up, so we can’t really guess what the two-part finale will be about.

There are a few unanswered questions, such as if Mr Nobody is still alive and what Jakob will do next, but they feel more like subplots than significant setups for the rest of the narrative.

The credits sequence, in which Han visits Shaw, who is appropriately astonished to see him, is a massive tease for the next film. Will Shaw let bygones be bygones after unwittingly assisting Han in keeping Project Aries safe?

Another fact we can confidently predict for the two-part conclusion is that Dom and his family will be confronted with yet another quest to rescue the planet, as well as a threat to his own family.

Could we witness more surprise returns from the dead, such as Dom’s father or Gal Gadot’s Gisele, as previously mentioned? In this reality, you can’t rule anything out, but you can probably rule out a laid-back conclusion in which they simply sit around and chill.

And, if Helen Mirren has anything to do with it, we could get to witness Queenie kiss Dom: “Oh, my goodness, of course I’d do it! But only if he speaks to me before and after, since it’s his voice that I find most appealing.”
