Today is a significant day for Paramount Pictures. The highly awaited next instalment in the “Transformers” franchise, “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” will now be published on June 9, 2023, approximately a year later than initially scheduled. “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” starring Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Valez, and Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and Ron Perlman as Optimus Primal, is directed by Steven Caple Jr. (“The Land,” “Creed II”) and stars Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Valez, and Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and Ron Perlman as Optimus Primal. The film, which takes place in the 1990s, is nearing the end of main filming, which is taking place in Brooklyn and Peru.

The future “Star Trek” picture, which is being created by Matt Shakman, will no longer be released on June 9, 2023, according to another important news. Instead, it’s being pushed for a Christmas release on December 22, 2023. Chris Pine, who played Captain Kirk in the three J. J. Abrams/Justin Lin “Star Trek” films from 2009 to 2016, and his castmates are yet to be named for the upcoming “Star Trek” film. Abrams will produce the yet-to-be-titled “Star Trek” picture.

“Rise of the Beasts” wrapped filming in October 2021, thus it’s odd that the movie is been pushed back a year when everything seemed to be on track for a summer 2022 release. Due to the massive backlog of blockbuster films caused by everything linked to 2020, studios have begun moving release dates to avoid getting slaughtered at the box office by one another. After Disney adjusted its Marvel picture plan a few weeks ago, it appeared to set off a butterfly effect, forcing changes in the release calendars of all the major studios. Neither the “Transformers” nor the “Star Trek” films are likely to be flawed.
